MidAmerica Productions concluded its 32nd season of concerts in New York with its Ensemble Spotlight Series showcasing instrumental and vocal groups from Texas and Louisiana on Sunday, June 28, 2015. Performances were given by the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra under the direction of Jean Montes, and three groups from El Paso, Texas: Coronado High School Orchestra conducted by Ida Steadman, Coronado High School Band led by Mark Saenz, and Coronado High School Thundersingers directed by Clay Vandertulip. John Rutter, CBE, Named Conductor Laureate

The British composer and conductor John Rutter, CBE, was named Conductor Laureate by MidAmerica Productions at his most recent performance in Carnegie Hall on May 25, 2015.
