What you see when you attend a classical music concert is a couple of hours of live music. What you don’t see is the hundreds of hours of rehearsals, separately and together, or the years of musical training that go into it. You don’t see the community that cherishes and supports these musicians, or the friendships within the ensemble that bring the final performance a greater sense of harmony. This year, we at MidAmerica Productions attempted to shed a little light on the side of performances audiences don’t often get to see.
