Maria Teresa Grieco

Maria Teresa Grieco is a New York City-based music teacher, pianist and singer (and occasional songwriter). A graduate of New York University, Ms. Grieco has taught choral and vocal music and music appreciation in public and private schools in New York City and Long Island.  She played chamber music for many years with the Skyline Chamber Players and other instrumentalists, and has accompanied many choruses and soloists.  A student of the late pianist Eugene List she performed in Monster Concerts with him and fellow List pupils including at Carnegie Hall in 1979.  Over the years she has played for private functions and on radio.  Maria currently freelances in the New York metropolitan area as choral singer and pianist, and teaches privately. Tonight is Ms. Grieco’s second appearance on the Carnegie Hall stage.
