Jonathan Tetelman, Tenor

This season Jonathan Tetelman joins the Milan Festival Orchestra for Verdi’s Requiem, Orchestra Now for Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius, and Opera Company of Middlebury for Luigi in Il tabarro. He performs in concert with Gulf Shore Opera as Alfredo in La traviata, Rodolfo in La bohème, and Duca in Rigoletto. Previously, he performed with the Martina Arroyo Foundation as Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus and Teatro Grattacielo covering Agamemnone in Gnecchi’s Cassandra. He joined New York Opera Exchange for Alfredo in La traviata and attended the International Vocal Arts Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia, as Elder Gleaton in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah. A First Prize winner in the 2016 New York Lyric Opera Competition, he was a 2016 finalist in the Mildred Miller (Opera Theater of Pittsburgh) Competition and a semi-finalist in the Giulio Gari International Vocal Competition and the Gerda Lissner International Vocal Competition.
