Kyle Zeuch, Conductor
Kyle Zeuch is in his fourth year as the Director of Children and Youth Choirs at the Michigan State University Community Music School. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Capital University in Columbus, OH and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University. Zeuch is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from MSU. Kyle taught previously at Rivera High School in Brownsville, Texas where he was named the Texas Choral Directors Association Distinguished Young Director award in the summer of 2010. Zeuch is an active adjudicator for MSVMA and serves on the MSVMA Executive Board overseeing Specialized Festivals, MYAF, and Summer Conference. Kyle resides in Lansing with his wife, Bethany, and their daughter, Harper.
The Michigan State University Youth Chorale consists of singers in grades 9-12 and rehearses once a week. The ensemble collaborates regularly with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan State University College of Music choral ensembles, orchestra, and opera program. Members of the choir toured Germany and Austria in the summer of 2016 and recently released a new recording, “We Are One.”
The Charlotte High School choral program, directed by Bethany Zeuch, consistently receives excellent and superior ratings at Michigan School Vocal Music Association Choral Festivals and Solo and Ensemble. The program is the jewel of this mid-Michigan community and regularly participates and performs in city-wide initiatives. The program also prides itself in their musical theatre productions and the end of the year “Cabaret” concert.
